Upon seeing this for the first time, I was blown away with the size and weight of the box, It was a huge experience unboxing.
Once you start building the structural engineering in this build is so impressive, a lot of time went into making this set. The finished product looks so high quality you have to remind yourself that, "yes this is lego".

So after months of trying to justify a way of paying this amount I finally came to the conclusion that this would actually be a legacy for my grandkids when they visited as they would always remember Grandad with the massive spaceship made of bricks so that swayed me to get it plus unexpectedly I received a large bonus from work.
Opening the Ikea size box was just the start of one of the best weeks in my life. I read most of the reviews on here before hand so decided to take my time and enjoy the build as was probably never do this again.
Took me about 30 hours to piece together over 7 days, no major problems at all and no bricks missing. Instructions were faultless and whilst I made a couple of mistakes was easy to find and rectify.
I added the stand, lights and case which this set definitely deserves and now sits proudly in my front room and fills me with so much joy when I see everyone's jaw drop when they catch eye of the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy!!

Am sure it will be a sellout until next year Thanks for getting the pic and info on it up so quickly. Yeah, LEGO really botched up the black card, especially the way they hyped it up so much.
Have you wrote in to voice your displeasure with LEGO? Will also have to figure out how to display it.
That alone might sway some potential customers. It seems like they wanted to fatten up their margin on this set, with the minifigures.

Ich will hier versuchen, die häufigsten Fragen zu beantworten. Wenn deine Frage hier nicht beantwortet wird, dann stell sie doch bitte unten in den Kommentaren.
Ich werde die Frage dann gerne versuchen zu beantworten und in meine kleine FAQ aufnehmen. Die teilweise sehr hohen Preise der UCS Sets entstehen also dadurch, dass es die Sets schon seit einigen Jahren nicht mehr auf dem Markt gibt und nicht dadurch, dass es nur eine limitierte Stückzahl der Sets gibt.
Das ist ganz unterschiedlich und hängt von der Nachfrage nach dem Set ab. Das beste Beispiel ist der Death Star, der von bis Ende im Programm war, nur um direkt im Anschluss vom beinahe baugleichen Death Star abgelöst zu werden.
Oft werden dann auch Fragen gestellt wie:. Erst seit mit dem UCS Sandcrawler gibt es ein richtiges Logo für die begehrte Sammelserie, seit Ende mit dem UCS Millennium Falcon ist dieses Logo auch schon wieder verschwunden und es wird auf ein immerhin gut erkennbares Verpackungsdesign zurückgegriffen.
